Wandered around @theabbottmansion with @_hoperichardson and kirkisreal, photographing them in the very place they’ll say “I do” next year 🤍

There’s something so special about getting to explore your wedding venue before the day itself, dreaming about what each space will look like filled with your favorite people and soaking in this season before everything becomes real. We wandered through the grounds, chased the soft evening light, and created a mix of romantic portraits, quiet little moments, and a few editorial frames that already feel like a glimpse into their wedding day.

Cannot wait to be back here with these two next year 📸🤍

So incredibly happy to see this beautiful editorial come to life and so grateful for the amazing team who made every detail happen.

Robin’s egg blue paired with rich saddle brown set the tone for the day. Against the veranda at Abbott Mansion, with bronze satin draping, painted woodland details, open pasture, and horses just beyond the house, the palette felt refined, equestrian, and wonderfully unexpected.

Rather than leaning into obvious equestrian details, the inspiration came through in the textures and tones: warm leather browns, soft blue skies, layered fabrics, and timeless Southern elegance.

This was one of the first editorials created at Abbott Mansion, one of Georgia’s newest wedding venues in Cleveland. @thefinerside planned and designed the day, @riverwildphotography photographed it, and instead of models, we had the sweetest real married couple, Charlie and Taylor, step into the story.

A journey through the sun as it moved across the sky. ☀️ From the bright, golden warmth of the afternoon to the soft, romantic glow of the setting sun, each shift in light brought a new feeling to Madison and Bo’s engagement session. Meet the Millers | Adriana & Garrett 🤍

The happiest two souls, and a love you could feel in every single moment. Adriana and Garrett were simply overjoyed to be marrying one another, and not even the rain could take away from the beauty of their day.

We began at the stunning Grand Bohemian Lodge in Greenville, South Carolina, before heading to the park for their sweet first look. Shortly after, the rain made its first appearance, sending us running back to the lodge, where they exchanged the most beautiful and intimate private vows.

From there, we joined their wedding party at The Avenue, where the skies cleared just in time for their rooftop ceremony! Adriana’s mother walked her down the aisle, and although her dad couldn’t physically be there, I just know he was smiling down on her. I’ve included the heartfelt letter he wrote to her, which was read at their reception. Such a special piece of their story.

And just before their ceremony ended, the rain returned, giving them the most romantic first kiss beneath the raindrops.

Later, we snuck away for a few sunset portraits, catching the most gorgeous golden light before the rain joined us one last time. Honestly, I wouldn’t have changed a thing.

Adriana and Garrett, your day was a beautiful reminder that it’s never about perfect weather or perfectly laid plans. It’s about the person standing beside you and the love surrounding you.

The rain may have followed us all day, but so did the joy. 🤍
