Why am I at your engagement session before you are? 👀

Because I’m not waiting until you arrive to figure out where we’re going.

I’m walking the property, watching how the light is falling, finding the quiet corners, scouting backgrounds, and planning the locations I want to use before you ever step in front of my camera.

That way, when you arrive, we aren’t wandering around looking for a pretty spot. We can jump right in, keep things relaxed, and make the most of every minute we have together.

A lot of what goes into your photos happens before I ever take the first one. 🤍

Caitlin had been singing Ironic all morning, so naturally, it only felt fitting to include it in this post. 🤍

The rain came, the wind blew, and somehow, it all became part of the beauty of the day. And then, as the evening came to a close, God painted the sky with the most beautiful rainbow.

A reminder of His covenant on the very same day Caitlin and Drake made a covenant of their own before the Lord, surrounded by the people they love most. I can’t think of a more meaningful way for their wedding day to end.

And truly, not a smile was spared. These photographs hold so much genuine joy, laughter, and love. The kind you can’t pose or manufacture, only witness.

Rain, wind, rainbows and all, it was nothing short of perfect. 🤍🌈
